As 2024 draws to a close, the team here at Twenty Ideas is filled with gratitude and pride as we reflect on a year of remarkable growth, innovation, and collaboration. From expanding our team to deepening our partnerships with groundbreaking clients, it’s been a year marked by milestones that underscore our commitment to creating a healthier, smarter, and more equitable world through technology. Here’s a look at some of our biggest accomplishments in 2024:
Recognition and Growth as an Employer
2024 was a year of recognition, as we were named one of Portland Business Journal's "Best Places to Work"—ranking among the top 10 mid-sized companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our employee satisfaction scores were off the charts, with 95% satisfaction with our work environment and culture, 97% confidence in fairness, and 96% trust in our leadership and company vision. These accolades were made possible by the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, who make Twenty Ideas an exceptional place to work every day.
We were also honored to be recognized as one of Oregon Business Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon", an affirmation of our team's trust, satisfaction, and commitment to the values that make our workplace truly special.
Innovating in Healthcare and Education
At the start of the year, we attended the ViVE 2024 health innovation conference in Los Angeles, where we gained valuable insights into the future of healthcare technology. We were inspired by the potential of AI for MDs, the growing role of therapeutic AR/VR in mental healthcare, and the importance of collaboration to accelerate tech innovation in the health space. These takeaways are directly aligned with our focus on responsible innovation and user-centered design to improve healthcare for all.
In March, we continued our commitment to educational innovation at the National Association of Bilingual Educators (NABE) conference in New Orleans. Our CEO, Mike Biglan, co-presented alongside program leaders from New Mexico’s Albuquerque Public Schools on empowering multilingual learners through tech-enabled writing practice. The AI-powered language writing platform LearningWrite, developed by Twenty Ideas, was highlighted as a key solution in supporting multilingual learners, and we are thrilled to continue working alongside APS to refine and expand this technology.
Team Expansion and New Leadership
2024 also saw the Twenty Ideas team grow in new and exciting ways. We welcomed new team members across our product, development, QA, and operations teams, including Chief Operating Officer Tom Moseman. With over 20 years of experience in leadership and law, Tom has already made a significant impact on our operations and strategy. His expertise in intellectual property, client relations, and systems development is helping to propel Twenty Ideas into the future.
Team Building and In-Person Connection
One major highlight of the year was our largest and most successful in-person company event ever: “Better Together ‘24!” This year marked our first international company gathering, with nearly 50 team members flying in from across the Pacific Northwest, the East Coast, and even Thailand, to converge on our headquarters in Eugene, Oregon. Over the course of the week, our team participated in a blend of work and play, from a state-of-the-company address celebrating our growth—doubling our team size in just two years—to a picnic with family, friends, and dogs at Striker Field Park. We also had a blast bowling and enjoying a wing-fest finale complete with a piano performance by the founder of the feast (Mike).
This event wasn’t just about having fun—it was about strengthening our culture and building lasting connections that will fuel our work for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to come together as a team and look forward to many more in-person events in the future.
Commitment to Sustainability and Climate Action
In 2024, we also made strides in supporting sustainable practices. We proudly became a member of Oregon Business For Climate, a statewide nonprofit focused on advancing climate policy. This membership aligns with our core mission of creating a healthier world through technology, and we look forward to collaborating with other like-minded businesses to help shape a sustainable future for Oregon's natural, human, and economic ecosystems.
Additionally, we elevated our support of the McKenzie River Trust, becoming a MRT Business Partner and kickoff donor for their annual Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign. This partnership reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship and our ongoing efforts to contribute positively to our community.
Global Opportunities and New Partnerships
Looking ahead, we are excited about our inclusion in the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), where our CEO and COO will attend as part of the Business Oregon delegation. This opportunity to showcase Oregon’s tech leadership on the global stage will help us forge new partnerships and expand our impact as a leading digital product agency.
Our work with clients grew in scope and impact this year as well. Ongoing partnerships include:
- D&H – International distributions company
- Daimler Truck North America – Top commercial vehicle manufacturer
- Scientific American – Globally esteemed publication
- PHC Global – Public health innovation firm, led by Dr. Charity Dean
- Comingle – Collaborative income-sharing fintech pioneer, led by Conrad Shaw
We are excited about the continued success and collaboration with these partners, and we look forward to tackling new challenges and innovating together in the year ahead.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we close out 2024, we are filled with excitement for what’s to come. With an evolving team, expanding partnerships, and a steadfast commitment to responsible innovation, we are ready to continue our mission to improve lives through technology. Thank you to our clients, partners, and team members for making this year such a memorable one. We look forward to an even brighter 2025!
Here’s to another year of growth, innovation, and impact—together!
