We created TechAssist, a vehicle maintenance mobile app designed to help streamline the diagnostics and repair process within the Daimler dealer network

BEFORE
Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) is one of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturers in the world, with over 400 dealer locations throughout the US and Canada
Internal diagnostic and repair platform limited to laptop functionality, creating challenges for technicians working under tight spaces and schedules
Needed to add an integrated mobile app designed to let technicians collect and access crucial information while working on vehicles

AFTER
New TechAssist mobile app integrates with DTNA’s core TechLane platform, released in the Apple App and Google Play stores
Image capture and voice-to-text features let technicians collect, share, and access information on parts and procedures, from any location
MVP was launched to pilot location in less than 6 months, with rapid and ongoing adoption across other operating locations
