5 min read

At Twenty Ideas, we’ve always been passionate about helping entrepreneurs turn their innovative ideas into impactful products that improve lives. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of 20ideation, our new incubator program designed to support startups from all over the country by providing them with the digital product expertise, mentorship, and resources they need to thrive.

20ideation’s selective, 6-month intensive program supplies participants with a comprehensive suite of services—from product development to investor readiness—helping startups turn their visions into scalable, high-quality solutions. And unlike many traditional incubators, 20ideation participants retain 100% ownership of their technology and cap table.

20ideation incubator highlights

  • End-to-End Support: At Twenty Ideas, we don’t just consult—we build. We provide end-to-end strategy and execution, guiding participants from ideation to launch and beyond. Our team has a proven track record of executing complex platforms across multiple industries, with a specific focus on delivering scalable products that are both technically sound and user-friendly.
  • Focused on Product Design & User Experience: We understand that a product's design can make or break its success. Unlike many incubators that focus solely on business strategy, 20ideation places a strong emphasis on high-end design and user experience. From the very beginning, we ensure that startups are developing not only functional but beautiful and usable products that will engage users and stand out in the market.
  • AI and Complex Systems Expertise: One of the biggest advantages of joining 20ideation is our deep expertise in cutting-edge technologies like AI and automation. As AI continues to transform industries, our team’s experience in AI-driven solutions and complex systems gives participants a significant edge when it comes to building innovative, data-intensive products.
  • Remote-First, National Reach: Unlike many Oregon-based programs, 20ideation operates remotely, allowing startups from all over the country to join. No matter where you are, you can access our expert mentorship and high-caliber design and development teams, making it easier for entrepreneurs nationwide to benefit from this unique program.
  • A Tiered Partnership Model: Whether you’re an early-stage founder or an established business ready to scale, 20ideation offers three distinct tiers—Startup, Scale, and Enterprise—each tailored to different stages of development. The program spans six months, with structured support for each participant, no matter where they are on their journey.
  • Mentorship, Networking, and More: 20ideation is not just about building products—it’s about building relationships. Participants will connect with a network of founders, investors, and industry leaders, providing them with opportunities to grow and scale their businesses. With mentorship from experts like Skip Newberry, President & CEO of TAO, and Jesse Fittipaldi, former President & CEO of Arcimoto, participants will receive invaluable insights into the startup ecosystem and how to successfully navigate it.

Twenty Ideas’ CEO Mike Biglan on 20ideation

We sat down with our founder and CEO, Mike Biglan, to talk about what inspired him to launch 20ideation, and what makes Twenty Ideas such a great fit for startups looking to scale.

Q: Mike, why is Twenty Ideas so well-suited to run an incubator like 20ideation?

Mike Biglan: This agency was founded to turn ideas into reality. We’ve built some really innovative, complex platforms across a range of industries—from healthcare and education to AI and automation. What sets us apart is our ability to provide end-to-end support. We don’t just offer advice; we actually roll up our sleeves and help entrepreneurs build the product. Whether it’s designing a user-friendly interface or navigating complex AI systems, we’ve got the expertise to guide startups every step of the way.

We also recognize that many of the best startups today are remote-first, and as a remote-first agency, we understand how to keep innovation moving with a distributed team. Entrepreneurs from anywhere can join and have access to the same resources and expertise as someone in our local Oregon community. We can truly help startups scale on a national—and even international—level.”

Q: Can you talk a bit about the focus areas for 20ideation and how it differs from other incubators?

MB: This isn’t your typical incubator, for a few reasons. First, we’re very intentional about the types of startups we work with. Our focus is on industries ripe for innovation, like health tech, ed tech, and AI. We’ve built a deep understanding of the challenges in these sectors, and we’re bringing that expertise to the table for 20ideation.

Another unique aspect is how we center product design and user experience right from the start. Many incubators are purely focused on business strategy, but we know that a great product requires great design. We’re extremely thoughtful about UX and UI, and we want to ensure that the products we help create aren’t just technically sound, but engaging and intuitive as well.

We also know a lot of applicants will be excited about the equity-free partnership model. For a passionate founder, giving up any control of their product vision is a hard tradeoff to make, and not the right one for every startup. 20ideation is a fee-based program, not an equity-based one, which means our participants retain full ownership of their business. We’re here to help them grow and scale, but we’re not interested in taking their business away from them. Opting for structured fees over equity comes with a commitment to fiscal responsibility and efficient execution. We’ve worked with enough startups to understand how tough it can be to balance growth with resource constraints. 20ideation helps startups avoid common pitfalls by focusing on delivering high-quality products on time and on budget.

Q: What’s next for 20ideation?

MB: We’ve just kicked off the program, and we’re already seeing incredible energy from the founders and investors who have joined us. Our launch announcement at a big Founder's Bay event in San Francisco on February 27 was a huge success, with over 300 founders and investors attending. The enthusiasm we’ve seen so far is exactly what we need to build momentum for the program as we head into our Spring/Summer 2025 cycle.

Looking ahead, we’re continuing to assemble an incredible team of mentors and Demo Day judges to maximize the impact of 20ideation. We’re excited to keep building this community of innovators, investors, and thought leaders who are eager to help the next generation of startups succeed.
